Day Thirty Three- March 17

Today is St. Patricks day. I love it. I went to put green on Kason this morning and ended up spending 10 minutes then realized that he has NO GREEN clothes! seriously?? So i found a pair of overalls that were a darkish green in the next size up.. I HATE overalls so i hesitated but finally just stuck them on him. He did pull them off well. He has only worn overalls a few times before (they were cameo shortalls) He fidgeted with them for a bit not knowing what is was all about..

Day Thirty Two- March 16

Kason is one independent child. Its crazy how independent he could be. Today he really wanted to feed himself.. so i let him have at it... Oatmeal everywhere but he was happy.. no complaints here.

Day Thirty one- March 15

Didnt take a picture today. Nothing really important happened. We hung around the house, went to church and visited with Logan's dad and step mom at their house. Katie and Richard were down from Canada. It was nice to meet Richard and see Katie again.

Day Thirty- March 14

We went over to Grandma Fitzgeralds house on Saturday night. Kason loved playing with all the toys that were older than mommy and daddy. he also knew where all the candy was, smart kid! Here he is with a lid to a candy dish using it as a phone.

Day Twenty nine- March 13

I found this shirt at the dollar store and had to buy it. Its logan's school colors from highschool and thought it was super cute. Kason looked adorable in it, but for some reason he didnt think so. he was upset about getting his picture taken.. and this picture crakcs me up.. its like "seriously mom? seriously"

Kason has been super cranky lately because of his teeth. He is getting way too many teeth at one time and he is growing on top of it all! poor kid!

I have been totally into my art journal lately and i love it. Art is such a great release for me. I love this painting because its my sewing maching that i am in love with! never thought i would love sewing so much!!

Day Twenty five- March 9

Kason loves to get up on the computer chair and play with the computer. He is such a monkey boy!! he is up on everything and into everything!

Kason is now in a size 4 diaper! Its crazy to think my little boy is big enough to be in a size 4 already but then i think about it and most kids his age either have been in a size 4 for months and months already or they are in a size 5. I love the Kason is on the small side!

Day Twenty three- March 7

We all went out to Cheesecake Factory to celebrate Amy and my brithdays!! it was so much fun!! Adam and Carrie (with samantha), Scott, Amy and Eric, and Logan and I all went and it was super yummy and fun!

made these super cool cupcakes for activity days. the girls all loved them! they were so much fun to make and eat!!

Day Twenty- March 4

finally got all the paper work done and everything to be able to drive out new car!! i hope to never have to go through all those hoops again. it really was no fun!

Day nineteen- March 3

While andrew was here we had played a ton of games. kason loved "playing" with us. I now can find him playing with the controllers by himself as happy as can be.

Day Eighteen- March 2

This is was you get when you have a busy weekend and leave the cleaning for the 'next' day, and that day you get the flu. This is what i came downstairs too.. oh well. Today will be spent full of cleaning and disinfecting the house.

Day Seventeen- March 1

I woke up with the flu. Taking a picture was the last thing on my mind. It was a horrible flu too. Stomach hurt so bad. It was waves of stomach cramps that felt like knifes.. no fun at all

Day Sixteen- Feb 28

I was lame and didnt take out my camera when we went up to Amy's house for Matthew and Maegan's family birthday party. It was tons of fun and super yummy food! I made their gifts this year. I made maegan a crayon roll for church and matthew a pillow case with sports stuff on it! they are getting so big i cant believe it

Day Fifteen- Feb 27

Andrew came and spent the night with us Friday. He was tons of fun and SUPER good too! We played the "yoshi" game four hours and on Saturday we actually finished it and beat the game. He was so excited. We also ate tons of pancakes. This kid loves pancakes! he even made his own: he poured them, flipped them, and ate them! way to go Andrew!!

Day Fourteen- Feb 26

We went skating with our ward at Skateland. This place has been there since i was really little and i remember going as a kid and always being there. We actually got skates for Kason and he did pretty well for only being 17 months. They tighten the wheels so they pretty much just walk. Logan's dad, Grandpa McGee, is in our ward and him and Kit, Grandma Kit, came and Kit watched and Allan skated and played with Kason. They went to California for 4+ months in the summer/fall and its now taken Kason to get used to them again. Its nice to have him interact with them again and I know they are loving it too.

Day Thirteen- Feb 25

I made flour tortillas from scratch. They turned out yummy!! We made Mexican pizzas with them and i think that it is now one of my favorite dinners! it was so yummy!!

Day Tweleve- Feb 24

We went to Charlies Safari With Brooke and Breanna and Kason LOVED it. We have gon many many times before and Kason has always enjoyed him self. This time he found this large foam block to carry around with him, it was so cute because it was almost as big as he was! lol He was So proud of himself!

Day Eleven- Feb 23

I went out shopping and came home to find Dannon with her face completely swollen! It freaked me out so much. It was really bad. I had to bring in Kason and Oliver and all the groceries. I called my dad and he said to get her benedryll. I called Rae to ask how much (she works at a vet) and she said i needed the tablets and not the liquid.. well we only had children's liquid and i started to lose it. I called Logan sobbing and he helped me find some in the house that i never would have found. After finally getting her to eat it (sneaking it in peanutbutter) the swelling went right away and she is perfectly fine. We have NO idea what happened or if she got into anything. It was sure scarey!

Day Ten- Feb 22

Logan and I need a bit more income right now, so i decided to start selling a few baby shoes and tote bags.. hopefully it will help. Here is my first finished pair up for grabs monday! yay

Day Nine- Feb 21

We went up to Amy's house on Saturday. It was finally sunny and decent out so we headed outside and played. Andrew loved to push Hannah Slowly and Kason loved to run around or sit behind Hannah on the little bike toy.
Matthew was a huge help and kept getting Kason for my when he tried to make his escapes. Maegan loved showing me all her tricks on her bike and going REALLY fast!!

Day Eight- Feb 20

We knew our breaks were getting bad and we needed to change them. We were just waiting for our tax return and never thought that they were as bad as they were. I was driving home tonight when the breaks went out. Luckily i did not over react and Kason and I made it home in safety. Logan's friend came over and helped figure everything out and got a plan in place to get everything all fixed!

Day Seven- Feb 19

Amy and I started this motivated moms thing. Its to help you clean. My kitchen looks amazing and when everything was put away and cleaned up and swept my kitchen looked so HUGE! such a nice feeling to have a clean beautiful BIG kitchen!!!

Day six- Feb 18

After dinner tonight we went into our living room as normal and we played and ran around and danced to our American Reject CD that i have had since high school. Kason loves it and dances whenever he hears it. After wards I laid down on the couch to watch some TV and Kason came over and brought me a book and he actually laid down on the couch with me and let me read to him for a while.. this is something that is unusual but very appreciated.

Day Five- Feb 17

Kason is VERY independent. He always wants to feed himself, drink from cups, put on and off his own shoes and socks, and loves to play alone doing his own thing. He is also not a big cuddlier or kisser. He will do it on his own terms and will defiantly push you away if its not what he wants at that time. Apparently this is NOT what he wanted to do today! lol

Day Four- Feb 16

We had spent almost the whole day DRIVING home from our weekend up in Vancouver and Ferndale. It was a great weekend but it was sure nice to be home!! Its great sunny weather like we had on the way home that makes me want to get outside and play, and clean up my house and make it all pretty and organized. I can't wait for spring!

Day Three- Feb 15

We drove up to Vancouver After we bought our new car. It was just us three and we visited the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge, Stanley Park, and drove to the Granville Island market but traffic was horrible and we left. We then spent an hour and a half at the border to get back into Washington! It was SO busy and crazy. Kason wanted nothing to do with just sitting in his seat so we let him sit on our laps while we waited in the forever long line! He loved it! This is the only shot of all 3 of us that we got all weekend long!

Day two- Feb 11

We drove up to Canada to get our new car and we stayed at Uncle Steve and Aunt Marilynn's house in Ferndale. You Loved hanging out with everyone and getting attention. You thought that this plastic dish would make a PERFECT hat...

Day One Feb 13

I started on the 13th but didnt make the blog until today so im catching up a bit...

Day one- We were going swimming with Brooke and Breanna and Kason was excited about his floaty toy!! As soon as i blew it up he climbed into it and waited there until we left to go to the pool! my silly boy! :)

I have not uploaded any pictures from our Trip to Canada which will be day one of my 365. I am starting later than everyone else because well i procrastinated and didnt think i would like to do this, but i do and so i am. I hope you enjoy a year in the life of the McGee's!
